By downloading or using TanPro ("the App"), operated by Kappish AB, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Important Health & Safety Warning
Tanning and UV exposure always carry risk. There is no such thing as a completely safe tan. Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation — from the sun or artificial sources — can cause sunburn, premature skin aging, eye damage, and skin cancer, including melanoma.
By using TanPro, you acknowledge and accept that:
- The App provides estimates only, based on public weather forecasts and generalized skin-type models. If you use the optional AI skin scan, your skin type is itself an AI-based estimate from a photo and may be inaccurate. Actual UV exposure and your skin's individual response can differ significantly.
- The App is not a medical device and provides no medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
- Session timers, "safe time" estimates, and SPF suggestions are informational aids — not guarantees against skin damage.
- You are solely responsible for your sun exposure decisions and for monitoring how your own skin responds.
- You should consult a dermatologist or physician before deliberate tanning, especially if you have fair or sensitive skin, a personal or family history of skin cancer, are taking photosensitizing medication, or have any skin condition.
- If you notice skin changes such as new or changing moles, see a doctor promptly.
- Children and adolescents should not engage in deliberate tanning.
If in doubt, stay out of the sun. Always follow the guidance of local health authorities.

These sources inform the App's general models; they do not constitute an endorsement of the App by any of these organizations, and the App's outputs remain estimates as described above.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
Weather and UV forecast data is provided by third parties (Apple WeatherKit) and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Kappish AB does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or calculation in the App.
Subscriptions
- TanPro offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("TanPro Pro") purchased through your Apple Account.
- Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store settings at any time.
- Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose, and not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the App or its content.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Kappish AB and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kappish AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including personal injury, skin damage, or health consequences — arising from or related to your use of the App.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rules.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Apple App Store
These terms are an agreement between you and Kappish AB only — not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Additionally:
- Your license to the App is a non-transferable license to use it on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service (except that the App may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing).
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the App.
- In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- In the event of a third-party claim that the App infringes that party's intellectual property rights, Kappish AB — not Apple — is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
